Cerebral Palsy (CP) Clinic

At NeuroWalk, our Cerebral Palsy Clinic provides specialised paediatric neuro-rehabilitation focused on improving movement, functional abilities and participation in everyday activities. Cerebral Palsy can affect posture, muscle tone, balance, coordination and motor control, with every child experiencing the condition differently. Our approach therefore focuses on the individual child, their abilities and their developmental and functional goals.

At NeuroWalk, rehabilitation begins with a comprehensive assessment of the child’s posture, muscle strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, mobility and functional movement. We also consider the child’s ability to perform age-appropriate activities and participate in play, school and daily routines.

Based on the assessment, our physiotherapists develop an individualised rehabilitation programme that may include strengthening, balance and coordination training, postural control, mobility and gait training, flexibility exercises, motor planning and functional movement activities. Therapy is designed to be engaging and meaningful, allowing children to develop their physical abilities through purposeful activities and age-appropriate exercises.

At NeuroWalk, we believe that rehabilitation should extend beyond the therapy session. Parents and caregivers are actively involved through education, guidance and appropriate home-based strategies to support the child’s progress and encourage greater participation in everyday life.

Our goal is to help each child develop their movement potential, improve functional independence and participate more confidently in activities that are important to them. Progress is regularly monitored and the rehabilitation programme is adapted according to the child’s changing needs and abilities. At NeuroWalk, every child is seen for their possibilities, not just their diagnosis.
